Hi, Nami! I know how you feel, we feel the same when in Asia, so many neighboring countries to explore, yet so little time. Don't worry, when your kids grow older then you and your husband will have more time to travel. The airlines always have good deals during off-season, just watch for them. Thanks for the nice blog-visit ~ it's always a treat when you come by :-)

One thing I regret is that Manila is so close to Japan than here. I wish I could travel more in Asian countries while I was in Japan! It's so hard to go to other Asian countries than Japan (or Taiwan for inlaws) because they would feel like "why you are in Asia and not spending time with us?" LOL. I hear all the great stories about food there and only way to enjoy is learning how to cook form you! This looks comfort food to me. Delicious, Elizabeth!

Thanks, Laura! I just read your sumptuous post on Persian Rice with Eggs and I had a hard time leaving your blog. Like minds think alike! Try making the homemade pork longaniza I make ahead for the family. It's such an easy recipe and so worth it! Yes, this is B,L,D for us, too!

LOL that was the same question what my brother was asking almost everyday when I was holidaying last May. What do you want to eat now? :))

Surely, all I wanted was the authentic Indonesian food esp from the small eatery places which we call warung.

Did you read my post today? It's like you read my mind about putting fried eggs on things. That alone tells me I must try this! I wonder if I can find the sausage and fish--and if not, what should I sub?

(But I won't lie--it will be dinner or lunch--I am 100% Western in my breakfasts and they must always be sweet and starchy lol).
