Thanks, Mari. As I mentioned in the recipe procedure, there are 2 ways to cook this adobo recipe. You can go with No. 1 and just toss it all in the slow cooker, then add the pineapple at the end. Enjoy!

Thanks, Monica. Adobo is one of the easiest dishes for me. Shove it all in the pot and let it simmer by itself works fine for me any day. Glad you came by :-)

This looks amazing! I can't believe how easy you make it sound. I love anything I can plop in the slow cooker and let it work its magic. It certainly did that here.

Thanks for the nice affirmation that we are all reminded of home once we cook adobo. Enjoy this one :-)

My mom used to cook adobo ALL THE TIME! She said it reminded her of home. I was just happy to be gobbling it up. Too bad she never taught me how to make it. This looks fantastic!

Thanks, Nami. This Pork Adobo with Pineapple from Marvin's cookbook is awesome. I had a good time connecting with culinary friends at the IACP in Chicago. You would have enjoyed it, too. So many 'famous' people from the industry up close. And yes, flying to SF after the conference was an enjoyable mini vacation with my son and his fiancee. :-)
