Hi Colleen, you can safely leave marinated chicken (covered) in the fridge up to 2 days, according to the US Dept. of Agriculture. Marinated pork can safely stay up to 5 days in the fridge (source: foodsafety.gov). I kept the chicken and pork marinated separately for this recipe for 36 hours. Hope this helps.

Pork and chicken can be marinated in reseable bags ahead of time. How lng can they stay marinated in the ref before they spoil?
