Hi, Pinky! How absolutely WONDERFUL to hear from you. So glad you found my blog and this story on our childhood. Those were lovely memories I can never forget. Hope you and your family are doing well. And yes, I love Pueo Tablea Chocolates and keep a stash in my pantry for heartwarming cups of tsokolate.

Hello Betty Ann! Guess who this is!!!! It’s your playmate ifrim Indiana . So happy you wrote about the Antonio Pueo Chocolate; my dad and mom would have been elated to read your article.

You lost your playmates when we moved to Quezon City, that’s where the factory was. We eventually had to sell it as Dennis and I had our respective businesses.

Missing you playmate,

4 tablea discs to ONE cup of water and one cup of heavy cream? Is this mixture thick enough or do you need a thickening agent like a slurry made of cornstarch? Thanks!

Hi Robby! Thanks for trying out the churros recipe. I consulted my friend Chef Jenni Field of Pastry Chef Online (she's got a fantastic Facebook page if you want to go look). Chef Jenni Field suggested :" It could have been a number of things. Oil may not have been hot enough. Or likely, the eggs have to be beaten well into the batter." I hope that helps. This recipe has worked well for us. Hope you get good results at the next try. Let me know what happens and thanks for the blog visit!

Hi, Nami! Oh your kids will like this Churros con Tsokolate ! My sons enjoyed it thro' their growing up years. You can do it on a weekend for brunch or snack. I used to adjust the churros to shorter ones when the kids were little. Thanks for the nice blog-visit!
