My story about how my hometown, Tarlac, created the Belenismo, an annual display of life-sized, fully illuminated nativities dotting the highways of this province’s 18 municipalities. The nativity creations are made voluntarily by local residents from indigenous materials and brings the community together. Valuable lessons learned that one need not look far for peace, goodness and kindness in the world.
